I was given the jumper as a gift, when my oldest son was about 3 months old. I started putting him in it when he wasabout 4 months old, at first he was iffy. But then one day it was like a light switch, he LOVED it. However, we went to my parents house quite a bit, and if he didn't have his jumper he got cranky real quick, but it was such a hassel to haul around. And at the time we had a decent sized two bedroom apartment...we thought...It wasn't nearly as decent as we thought when we got that jumper. It takes up ALOT of space and its easy to understand the assembley but it can be difficult to actually do the assembley. It really stregnthened my sons legs, and he was ready to walk at about 7 months old..But even out of his jumper all he wanted to do was jump lol. I guess in the long run, you'll do anything for your kids, so the hailing around of it is worth it, and as long as you actually have the space for it- it is a great investment. I recommend the jumper and then a baby einstein DVD, my son watched baby einstein like crazy. Twice a day and if he didn't again he got HOSTILE.
