I bought one for my youngest daughter because she LOVED to jump, she would do the jumping motions even while lying down!
OK so this is a great toy that keeps kids busy and less interested in the fact that mom's no longer in the room because she's folding laundry.
However it does have it's draw backs. I had a children's development something or other come over once a week to "play" with my kid to see if she was developing as well as other kids (she was a pre-me) and as time progressed and it came time for her to start walking she showed some difficulty in this area. She would curl her feet under so that she was not walking an the normal tippy-toed position but rather on the tops of her feet! She also showed a leg favoritism, she would pivot on the one leg dragging the other on the ground, and while in the Jumperoo the leg she favored would be doing all the work while the other leg would be pulled up more so as not to touch the floor. The children's developmental lady suggested not using the toy for a while to see what happens, apparently it was just what she needed. As soon as we took it away she started to walk in a normal fashion showing no signs of leg favoritism.
I gave the toy to a friend that had wanted one for her very active son, I told her to watch out for any delays in his walking, or keeping his feet in strange positions and any signs of leg favoritism. If any were to occur to stop use ASAP.
