We got the jumperoo as a gift after our daughter was born. Initially, I thought it was great, but then I realized how large it was, and that even though it says that "it fold up," folding did not make much of a difference storage-wise. My daughter was not thirlled with it;; she would sit in it, but treated it more like an exersaucer (which we had as well). I was ready to write it off as a waste of space, but then my son was born, and he LOVED it! We put him in it around five months, he is now twelve months and still will play in it. It wears him out and keeps him contained. I love that it is safe, as I was not comfortable with the over the door jumpers. He likes the toys on it as well, but is just as happy when the music is turned off. The music is loud and annoying, so it is turned off a lot! Overall, I'd recommend it if you have a "little mover" like my son. If you have a baby like my daughter who is not as active, they will be just as happy with an exersaucer.
