My household is overflowing with toys and most of them fall into the category of the noisy and the visually stimulating. One toy that has been around for a long time and fits the noisy bill is the Fisher Price Corn Popper, a classic toy.

I used to have one of these toys when I was little! So I decided to get one for my 2 yr old daughter, we got it for her last Christmas and she loves playing with it, it is a pretty cool entertaining toy, even my 9 yr old Stepson plays with it, he and my daughter love to chase each other with the Corn Popper.

Of course it is noisy, and sometimes my daughter decided to play with it when we are watching a movie or playing a board game, then it is pretty annyoing, but then she goes to play in her room and we don't hear as much as the noise.

I love the Corn Popper! Both my kids have had one(ages 9 and 4). I think this is a timeless toy. It is so simple, no batteries, no instructions, no putting it together, and my favorite part- no twisties or other complicated box opening procedures! It's one of those toys I can't stand listening to so my daughter and I have an agreement, she vacuums upstairs in her bedroom and I stay downstairs. Although I must admit that the fact she is 4 and still plays with the "toddler" toy makes up for the annoying pop, pop, pop, pop...

There is a reason that this is still a classic toy. No small parts, no assembly required! It is durable, entertains a wide range of ages, and has stood the test of time. This will still be around for your grandchildren, and never loses its magical character! I highly recommend this toy, as it will entertain, and has no 'sound-bits'. Yes, the popping is a bit noisy, but that's one of the things children enjoy about it. They can pretend they are vacuuming or mowing a lawn; and isn't childhood all about pretending, anyways?

This toy has been around since I was little!   My nieces and nephews loved it and now my great nieces love it!  One of them still plays with it at 6 years old, because her dogs loves to follow it!

Anyway, it's an old classic that doesn't do everything for the kid and is very durable!

I remember having a popcorn popper when I was a child and it is great to see that the toy has lasted nearly 40 years.  Today I have one for my daycare children who find it fun and enjoy watching the colorful balls bounce up and down.  Although the popping can get annoying, the children enjoy this toy.
