Super cute.Perfect for kids who are terrified of the "big" potty

4

As far as appearance goes I would rate it a 10. It's super cute to the adult who buys it and the toddler who uses it thinks it's pretty cool too! The features are cute as well and make potty time more entertaining and not so scary for the toddler. This is also my favorite brand for about 90% of all baby, toddler and kid products so that made it an easy decision when purchasing. The only thing I dislike really about this potty and others similar to it, is that you have to constantly empty it and clean it and my kids never wanted to poop in it. They also almost looked at it as a toy at first and I think it delayed the potty training process. If I had to do it over again I would have rather just got a potty seat, the ones that just sit over top of the regular potty seat and dealt with the potty trauma that most toddlers endure in the beginning because the end result is, they use the big potty like everyone else. I think they are just ultimately scared of falling in with their little bottoms. lol

Cute potty... if you get it right the first time

This is a darling little potty. It sings when your child is successful, it looks just like a "real" potty, and has a flusher. It has a cute, happy face and even it's own toilet paper roll holder. When I bought this potty, I thought, "It has everything! There's no way it could fall short!" But potty training is different for every child, and this one was missing something essential: the removable seat (that goes on the regular toilet seat to make it smaller). My son loved playing with this potty, which in hindsight is more like a toy than anything else, but he didn't want to have anything to do with using it the way it was intended to be used. He wanted to use the regular toilet, and without the removable seat, I had to go back to the store and spend more money on the most basic item: the seat itself. Don't spend the extra money on this super-cool potty until you've tried the plain old seat first.

Makes Potty Training Fun

4

This is a great potty for potty training. The seat detaches so that you can place it onto the big toilet seat. It was reasonably priced as well. My son loves the music that it plays when he goes potty, and the toilet paper holder is also a great feature. Would definitely recommend this potty to other parents.

Fun way to go potty

5

My daughter loves that it looks like a real toilet, so knew what to do straight away. At thirteen months she enjoys using it properly as well as playing with all the musical features. I like the way it says open/close flushes and says when something has been done. It is easy to take apart and clean, does not take up too much space and as well as being useful for potty training is a fun and interactive toy to get used to before initiating potty training. My daughter thinks that it is fun to use and is not scared to sit on it. I also do not think that it is too expensive for what it is and can be used for both boys and girls, therefore if you plan for other children it will have a long life. I have always thought fisherprice is money well spent and this product lives up to that. I have no hesitation in recommending it, it would make a great birthday or chistmas present. I highly recommend this :)

The best potty

5

I gave this potty a 10 because I was desperate to find something that wilI motivate my son to use the potty. So I bought the fisher price cheer for me potty because my son was so hard to potty train. I tried giving him candy and stickers, but nothing worked. My sister said she used this potty and her daughter loved it. I know he needed something to make it fun for him. He was 3 years old before he started using a potty, until I found this potty. He liked it so much because it looked like our potty and it also played music. He said it was a big boys potty. I thought he would think it was more of a toy and not use it what it's for. It wasn't long before he noticed he didn't have to go to the bathroom for it to sing. He found the sensor on it, but he still went to the bathroom. It is very durable, two years later my daughter used it and it still working great. It's nice that it's for girls and boys so we can keep passing it down.

worked alright, other things worked better

we used this for a while with our first born. It is fine, just like every other baby potty out there. the only thing we didn't like was we found that the noise ended up being a distraction more than anything else, and she would concentrate on getting it to make a noise rather than sitting there and actually going.

Fisher Price Cheer For me Potty is more of a toy.

This FIsher Price potty is a really cute idea of a potty to try and get your child to start potty training but there is one big problem. This potty has so much going on with it that children want to play with it more than they want to use it. I have found it hard to set my child on it and him use the potty. He is still potty training and it has been easier to put him on the big potty with the small lids on them. He loves the music this potty sings and he loves to push the knob down nonstop. He loves the face on the potty and touches the eyes on this potty. He does not like to keep toilet paper on the toilet paper holder that comes on their body. But it's a nice idea to let the kids have there on toilet paper holder. I think they should of made something for the flushable wipes though because I know a lot of parents that use that at first instead of toilet paper. It also has a lid on it so it can become a step stool and that is always a good thing to have. All in all it's a cute potty but children do not want to use it they want to play with it.

Sooooo cute!!!

My son loves this potty! He thinks it is the best thing in the world and treats it just like a real potty. Everything from the flushing handle to the pull out toilet paper holder. And when he actually goes potty and it cheers him on, it just encourages him to go more often. He loves to run to the bathroom just to sit on it... and in my book, that is a great way to start the potty training process

cute little potty seat

5

My son is nowhere near ready to potty train, but one of the main things I remember my mother telling me always worked for all 5 of her kids, was to buy a potty seat really early and to start it off in the living room/toy room/den/kid's room so that they could get aquainted with it. Let them play with it and really get to know it. Then you move it to the bathroom and explain to them that that's where you potty is in the restroom and the toilet belongs in the restroom. Then you gradually show them how to use it as they show interest and are ready. This, is I swear the best potty to do just that with. It resembles a real potty, complete with a little lever to flush and a real toilet paper holder. The only thing that screams fake, is the cute little face it's adorned with and the fact that the flushing lever doesn't make flushing noises. I think the toilet paper holder is such a cute way to show little ones how big kids wipe. I also love the cute little music it plays when the child potties on it. The one draw back, is that I wish it made flushing noises when you pulled on the lever. I think it's important to show kids that their "poo poo or pee pee" goes bye bye when they're done. It's always part of the fun for the little kids to pull the little lever and watch it all go down the drain. My son likes to flush the regular potty now just to watch the water spin. I think an important part of potty training is to make it seem fun/interesting for them to do it and by not at least making flushing sounds, it takes away an element of fun.
