Last night we had a party, and, of all our outdoor toys, this was the biggest hit with all of the kids, ages 4 to 14 months. It allowed us to have a nice barbecue without worrying about which toddler was eating dirt. They were too busy "mowing" the lawn. This lawnmower has lasted me through two kids. I have never been able to get the bubble thing to actually work, but my kids don't care. My son, age 2, has played with this almost every day this spring, and he follows my husband around when he mows the lawn, mowing right behind him. It's super-cute, and that type of roleplaying is also very educational and developmentally appropriate for him. I love just about any toy that gets my kids outside, and this one is not only fun, but durable as well. I've left it outside in the rain, snow, sleet and sun, and it still looks just like new.

I can remember having a pretend lawnmower when I was a child. When my first born was young I was delighted that the pretend lawn mowers were still around. By the time my third child was born Fisher Price had come out with the Bubble Mower. I enjoyed the television commercial with the little boy pushing the bubble mwer as his dad cut grass with a real mower. And the family dog was jumping in the air trying to catch the bubbles in his mouth. We had so much fun pushing this mower and watching the bubbles fill the yard. The Fisher Price bubble mower actually sounds like a real Law Mower as you push it. And this toy is sturdy and lasts a long time. There is something magical about bubbles. And now my grandson has a Fisher Price Bubble lawn mower. And he loves it. Now that it is Spring, we can play together with it. Fisher Price makes it easy or childre to pretend they are helping grown ups, an for adults to have the fun of being a kid again. I love the bubble mowerr. It is a wonderful toy.

Even though the bubble feature didn't really work on this mower, this is definitely the best mower for kids outside! My toddlers didn't need the bubbles at all. They like to imitate mowing the lawn like their Dad does. This mower is made to be sturdy and the wheels are definitely the best part about this mower! They are built to be tough! I have another mower for my sons and it won't push through grass that hasn't been freshly cut. The Fisher-Price Bubble Mower pushes through anything- even wet grass or mulch! This is the mower my kids fight over. It would be nice if the bubble feature worked better, but the fact that it works so well on the lawn makes up for it. I would recommend this mower for a child who doesn't need the bubbles, but just wants to push it around. This will provide many hours of amusement. My three year old will take this mower in many circles around our house and never tire of it!

My daughter received this mower as a gift and was super excited to have a mower like Daddy. However the first mower had no bubbles and broke the first lap around the yard and when we returned it and got another the bubbles worked for a very short period of time but don't come out now. We did read all the instructions and my husband used the mower first to see if it would work, but never did for him either. We didn't want to have the heart to take it away again, so our kids plays with a mower that just doesn't blow bubbles. I just tell my kids that it's broken and they'll still push it around the yard. When we contacted Fisher Price, they gave us a hard time about it and told us to take it back to the store where it was purchased. What kind of manufacturing company does that? We are very diapoointed with everything involving this mower and will think twice before purchasing any additional FP toys for our 2 small children.

The Fisher-Price Bubble Mower Outdoor Play allows our son to be just like daddy when he is mowing the grass. It's also a toy that my husband and I rememebr playing with when we were kids and we have fond memories of that, so we wanted our son to have the same. He loves bubbles, so we thought this would be something to work on coordination and give him bubbles at the same time. The Fisher-Price Bubble Mower Outdoor Play wasn't as exciting as hubby and I remember it. The bubbles didn't come out as easiliy as we had hoped, and we did end up with some bubble solution mess. Ou son loved the mower non the less. The Fisher-Price Bubble Mower Outdoor Play easily pushes around the yard, even though it is made of plastic. It was very easy to assemble and provided hours of fun for our son and a few neighboor kids. The Fisher-Price Bubble Mower Outdoor Play did produce bubble, it just needed to be on a level space to do so best.

I'm glad I got this item on clearance, because full price is too high for what this product does not deliver. As a push toy, it's great.  It sits at a perfect height for my toddler, it's light-weight enough that he can lift it to turn, and because of the resistance in the wheels, it doesn't move too fast for him.  There is also a knob and lever that makes clicking noises, which is a delight for a child that age. Major downside is the bubble function.  It is incredibly difficult to get bubbles to come out.  My 18 month old rarely sees bubbles, a 2.5 year old could not get them to work...and it was even difficult for the adults to make it work (and we read the helpful hints to get the bubbles going!)  Even though you rarely get bubbles, it some how drains the soap-water supply, so I am refilling this thing constantly. This toy does get a lot of use as an outdoor push toy.  But there are lower cost alternatives to both push toys and bubble play.  This product was unable to combine the two.

My son loves his bubble mower.  It is so cute to see him outside following his daddy around with it.  It is so cute how the bubbles come out of it as he walks.  The only problem I found was that the bubble feature does no work as well on uneven ground.

Got this mower for my son for his 2nd birthday. My son loves to pretend to cut the grass like his dad. Now he has a lawnmower to do that with. He turns the key and while he is pushing the lawnmower it makes a loud realistic sound. He didnt care about the bubbles at all. Which was ok because I found they didnt come out very much. I was a little worried from the reviews, but we haven't had any problems. Can't get him to come inside without a battle!. And it doesn't need batteries like the other bubble mowers, so no worries if it gets left out in the rain. Also there is no mess! Even if there are no bubbles, our son loves to hear the "motor" when he pushes it. It is a great toy for a little boy with boundless energy! You don't have to pour the bubble solution into anything and if your child takes the bubble container out of the mower, it is designed not to leak or spill! Make sure to read the instructions and that the bubbles are attached properly, you must push down on the bubble container to get the solution into the mower, and that it gets cleaned out every now and then.

My two year old loves his bubble mower. He takes it out when daddy is mowing the yard on his big lawn mower and follows daddy around with his. He loves it with and without bubbles in it! It is a very affordable toy and is also very durable a nice! I would recommend it to anyone!!!

The bubble blower doesn't work on our mower any more - it was fun awhile it lasted.  Now it is less sticky and just as fun.  We have had ours for 5 years.  It has sundamage and it has been well used.  This is a fun toy for either girls or boys.  I bought it for a 2 1/2 year old, and it has lasted for other kids in my family - my 4 year old loves it the most.
