For my youngest son's first birthday I decided to buy him the Fisher Price Go Baby Go! Bounce & Spin Zebra. I had originally wanted a rocking horse but decided to go with this instead. I thought it was more age appropriate But once we had it set up, I was doubting this would be good for a one year old even though it's recommended age is 12-36 months.
The zebra is a good size and sits low to the ground, about twelve inches. It has a wide base to make it sturdy. It has bright, fun colors and plays fun music and sounds. It has a light on the handlebar and there are two toys to spin. The music can be adjusted to high or low.Just let your little one climb on here and bounce away. As your child rides the zebra they can rotate around too. It does come equipped with a safety feature that prevents it from rotating unless your child is sitting on it.
It's a really cute toy and can entertain children but my son did not like this toy. He has rode it maybe 20 times for no longer than a couple minutes at a time. He just likes to pick it up and tip it over. Yes it is sturdy for riding but it is light.
I think this this toy would be more fun for an older child. One of my friends' three year old little girl loved this toy. I would recommend this for older children but not younger ones.$45 is quite a bit for a toy that just sits there.
