We bought it for my 16 month old son. Initially he loved it but after that he was bored. Toy is excellent for babies or i can say from 10-15 months when babies are trying to stand up and just learned to walk.
Another great benefit of this toy, is that when the child is not sitting on it, the zebra is locked and does not turn or bounce, allowing the child to get on with ease. So when my son grabs the orange handle to get on, it doesn't move. Once he is sitting on the zebra, the animal can move up and down, and also can turn 360 degrees. I have had no issues with tipping and my son has not fallen off of it even one time.
The songs the toy plays are cute, and it also makes som galloping and horse breathing noises that are really funny. It has 2 volume levels to chose from which is also nice. The barrel in the front has beads that spin around and lights that flash.
Bottom line: It makes very cute sounds, does need some parent interaction/supervision until they grow into it and by that time they may grow out of it. But I have it in my son's playroom and he gets on and off it a few times each day.
He doesn't bounce for hours at a time but 5 minutes also he genuinely enjoys it when he does. Also, he puts other toys on the seat and tries to make them bounce.
