Fisher Price Bounce and Spin Zebra —

My 20 month old loves playing on the Bounce and play Zebra. We did not actually purchase this item, we trade toys every so often with my nephew, who is just a few months older than my daughter, to swap them out to keep the kids interested in them, but I have looked at it several times to buy. I must say, I will be sad when this one goes back. My daughter enjoys it, and she will even just sit on it when we read, or when we watch a little tv, or whatever else.

The zebra has a big bottom to keep it sturdy, and it plays music. There is a switch for volume setting, either low or high, which is nice. When the zebra is sat on, it can spin fully around, and your child can bounce up and down on it. It is bright and colorful, and has 2 animals on the handles that can be twisted around for added fun. Although it looks like it would rock back and forth, it doesn't, and that would be my main complaint. I wish it did go back and forth. When we first brought it home, my daughter kept trying to rock on it, but she enjoys the bouncing as well. Since I didn't buy this toy, I don't know the actual age requirements, but I am pretty sure it runs around $30. My daughter has taken several falls off the toy, mostly from playing with it the improper way, as most toddlers do, but because of that, I would suggest this toy to be used in a family room where the child is in constant view. My daughter plays with it quite a bit, but she does have large amounts of time where she doesn't. When we first brought it home, she lived on it for about 2 days, now it is here and there. When she is playing on it, she seems to really enjoy herself.

Bottom line:
A great toy, and pretty reasonable, but isn't one that is played with daily. It is a little big, but easily moved. I love that it gets my little one bouncing and even more active than usual, but it also entices her to try and climb, etc, so it does require constant supervision. While re-reading my review, I seem to have a "but" for every positive, however I do think the positives outweigh the negatives. It is a fun, simple toy, that my daughter enjoys, so that makes it well worth it!

It is a great toy. A little bulky, but it is easily moved from room to room, although this one seems to stay in our living room ( I still haven't traded it back, haha!)

Great review! I have seen this in the stores. I was thinking of getting this for my 14-month old for Christmas.

Only 2 things ever influenced my toy buying...one it had to be as safe as possible and it had to be fun for the kids. Kids seem to be the biggest critics in the world but as long as they are safe and happy that's what matters....Great review...;)
