Fisher Price
Baby's First Blocks

Baby's First Blocks is a great and fun toy. It exposes a toddler to different shapes and colors. The blocks are bright and colorful. These blocks are the perfect size for your toddlers' hands. They are durable and washable. Not only does it entertain your toddler,...

I love shape sorters.  I don't love this shape sorter.  Granted, I don't hate the Fisher Price Baby's First Blocks as a whole.  As a shape sorter, it doesn't work, but as a bucket of blocks, it is so much fun!

My daughter loves the different colored blocks.  She received them for her first Christmas...

When my daughter was young, we realized she loved blocks.  Blocks were just a lot of fun for her to use.  We bought her this toy merely for the many blocks.  She could hold them, chew on them, throw them, all sorts of things.  When she was deluged with toys at around 1 years old, we put these blocks away.  Within three months, we had them out again, using them not as blocks to throw, but as educational toys to sort through the blocks and put them in the right holes.

The pail the little toys came with was also very useful to us as we used to pack a variety of little toys to take to other...

The Fisher Price blocks were a good investment for us. I got them when our son was 5-6 months old. He loved playing with these! In fact, I think its how he learned what a star was and could eventually say "star". Since he was so young and couldn't match it to its shape, we stacked them on top of each other and knocked them over alot. And he loved taking the lid off so most of the time we put the lid on the ground and he started inserting the shapes that way. I guess the bucket part just became a storage spot for me, lol.

I didn't like how the lid came off so easily. I guess its suppose to for...

My son loves playing with these blocks and the tote they come in. He loves knocking down towers made of the blocks and dumping out the contents of the tote. I cant wait for him to start putting the shapes through their respective holes in the lid. Only problem I see with it is that the lid does not stay on the tote very well, if it latrched my son might have started figuring out the holes and shapes already, who knows.

This is a great toy to buy a child thatis learning, first to learn their shapes, eye hand cordination, also imitation, the parent shows the child how to put them in, the child copies. Might take the child a couple tries to figure it out, but that is the point of Fisher-Price Baby's First Blocks.

This is one of my baby's favorite toys.  Before he was able to actually put the shapes in the holes, he loved to play with the blocks.  Now, at 15 months he is starting to be able to sort the shapes and he gets very excited when he does it.  This is a classic that every baby should have.

This is a classic toy that probably almost all people have had as a child.  It's fun and educationa.  It's easy to clean & portable.  But the best part is, it doesn't need batteries!
