I first bought the Graco Winnie the Pooh front/back motion swing. My son was not very into it. At 3 months he finally went to sleep in it, but just for 30 minutes or so.
My mom wanted a swing for her house, and I said I wish I had bought one that did front/back and side to side motion. I got this swing. He LOVES it. Fell right to sleep the first time I put him in it. I was MUCH easier to put together. (I had to call tech support 2x for the Pooh swing). He sits in it to eat (not swinging, of course). And he loves the spinning leaves, etc.
I can't say enough great things about this swing. It's very secure. Seems very ergonomic for him. He gets gassy, and this puts him in exactly the correct position to fart. I thought it was great for the price, too.
