We borrowed the Papasan Cradle Swing from a friend when our twin daughters were born. Right away, Baby B LOVED it. She would cuddle down into it and sleep for hours. When she got a little older, she loved looking at herself in the reflective mirror and watching the leaves spin around. Eventually we had to break down and buy another when Baby A realized how great it was. She mainly liked to just lay, not swing. Pros:
Comfy-both babies loved to just lay in it
Quiet operation-definitely a "stealth" swing
Perfect for newborns/smaller infants
Very stable when in operation
Easy to clean
Cons
It only runs on batteries-I would have loved to be able to plug it in since we ran them A LOT!
Not a compact swing-they took up a good chunk of our living room.
Only a lap belt-when the babies were older and wanted to sit a little more upright, you can adjust the basket to accomodate. However, with it only being a lapbelt and with most infants being top heavy, I was very worried that they would flip out of the seat. We stopped using them at that point.
