I have had my monitor since my 12 year son was born, I still use it to this very day. He is autistic and his room in on the other side of ours. I keep both on when we are all going to bed. It is just a back up safety feature I use even though we have a security system in our home. I can hear him breathing and I would instantly know if something or someone was pretruding.

I got my monitor about 24 months ago. paid appx. $40.00 usd for it at walmart. i use it almost everyday when my baby sleeps or when she is just playing in her room and i cannot be there. it has a range of about 400 feet and well can even pick up thou think walls and still give clear sound and signal. it doesnt drain the batteries all that much, and in the 2 years i have had it i have only had to replace them about 3 times. it is easy to replace them. and that just the portable part of it. the stationary part has a light on it so it can be used as a night light. and the cord is long enough that...
