Fisher-Price Adjustable High Chair —

The how and why I got the Fisher-Price Adjustable High Chair:
When we had our 1st child, we had gotten a Graco high chair. The seat ripped within the first few months, and the metal legs were hard to clean. When we had our 2nd child, we pulled out the old duct taped Graco. It barely made it through her high chair years, so we threw it out afterward. When our 3rd child was born, my mother-in-law had found this high chair at a garage sale and brought it over. She said that she knew we didn't have a high chair, and thought this one was in pretty good shape. She said that she didn't know how we felt about second hand stuff, and she would not be offended if we did not want it. She said that she would just keep it for her house and buy us a new one. I believe "beggars shouln't be choosers" so to speak, and told her we would definitely keep it! As a matter of fact, she ended up buying two more garage sale high chairs - one for herself, and one for my mother!

Some more info....
This high chair was in pefect shape! Instead of tubular, metal legs - they were wide, square shaped, hard plastic. Made of the same kind of indestructable plastic that your child's "Little Tykes" toys are made of, and that's what makes this high chair so durable and much easier to clean! Also, the soft seat was not plastic, but a fabric covered in sort of a clear rubber coating for easy wiping. It easily adjusts to 6 different heights, and has a removable tray.

Like I said, I got this second hand, but from my research I beleive it was $79.99 new. I am not sure if you can still get this high chair new, but I figured I was so happy with this product, i'd review it for those of you who garage sale, Ebay, or receive hand-me-downs. I am almost done with this high chair, and look foreward to passing it along!

My viewpoint is:
The only downfall of this product is that it is bulky, and does not fold away for storage or travel. I, myself, find the fold-aways less durable, and prefer to just buy a portable travel/booster chair that straps on to a regular chair for those purposes!  So I give it a 5 star rating and highly recommend it!
