Ok, I don't work for nor purposely intend to do PR for Fisher Price but, I tell everyone I meet who has a toddler that this is my personal parent's-pick-of-the-year! This Fisher Price Active Gear Potty-on-the-go has been so incredibly helpful that I'm surprised I hadn't heard of it before stumbling across the whole "portable" potty on my own. Perhaps when I'd previously heard "portable," I thought of the little seat that goes on the adult seat but THIS is it's own, COMPACT, easy to tote, simple, clean, stand alone, no-need-to-touch-the-public-toilet, most awesome potty ever! And I realize I'm getting excited about a "potty" but, it really has been a trip-saver many times! Now, we have no more shortened trips to the park or frustrating trips to Wal*Mart or Costco. I simply bring this stylish carry case wherever we go and when my eldest has to use the potty (2-3 years old ... it's been about a year now), we simply park our cart or, at the park, move to a private area, or pull over in the car and "GO"! It's incredibly easy to use and not at all bothersome! I'm definitely not doing it justice in this review. TIP: Although it comes with breast pads as absorbent material to put into the disposable bag, once those are gone, if you don't want to purchase more (I had them anyway w/ a newborn) simply save and use all of those extra napkins you get at fast food restaurants. Also, Wal*Mart or other places carry inexpensive small waste basket trash bags (scented even) for practically nothing and I keep spare ones in the carry case and car. My suggestion is that each time your child uses the potty, you pre-set-up the potty (bag, absorbent material thrown in) for the next RUSHED use. I'm always happy that I've taken the extra minute to do this in advance when my son always gives me at-the-last-minute notice of his need to "go." You won't be sorry you bought this! One more thing, when putting the bag on the potty, I recommend folding over the top of the bag several times (shortening the bag) and then setting it around the potty base before snapping on the top (you'll see). This allows for extra "clean" area that has not been soiled for you to handle when you go to tie/knot the bag to discard it. All of the wetness will be at the bottom of the bag and the length of the bag will be dry and clean since it was rolled/folded up under the seat. Ok, I could go on forever but; that should do it! The Fisher Price Potty On-the-Go is one of the best pieces of baby/toddler gear we've ever purchased. It comes in a a great nylon carrying bag with plenty of pockets for extras and a shoulder strap. Looks so cool no one will know you're carrying around a potty!! Inside, the potty is easy to set up by locking the three legs. It comes with plastic bags and absorbant pads but any grocery store or kitchen garbage bag will do and, in a pinch, a sanitary pad works inside so no reordering of specialty pads. This Potty On-the-Go is perfect for those times at the playground when there is no bathroom available or only a questionably clean porta-potty. We keep the Fisher Price potty in our car and I can set it up in the hatchback so my kids can use it right inside the car. We've also pulled it out alongside the road on long car trips in a potty emergency because it's comfortable and discreet. It's also sturdy so no folding up while kids are on it. The best part is that it gives my kids and me piece of mind to know that we always have a potty on hand for those times that they didn't "go" before they left home or where a regular bathroom isn't available. It prevents accidents and lets the kids build confidence while training. GREAT product!

When i got my baby girl potty trained, it became a challenge to take her to long trips in the car or on the plane, so i started looking for a portable potty. I came along The Fisher Price Potty on-the-go and I believe this is the BEST baby related purchase I have ever made. I first tested it on the international flight, when she was just 2 years old. It served the purpose very well. It comes with a very nice bag, so you can carry it very discretely, but it is a little bulky. It's perfect to keep in our family van though. My kid is 5 now and we still use it on long trips in the car and i expect to use it for years to come. It's very easy to use and uses regular smaller size chip trash bags, unlike other pricey replacement bag alternatives. I buy vanilla scented, walmart brand VERY cheap trash-bags for it. I cannot tell you how happy I am to have it in my car on long trips, when there's an urgent "have to go" emergency. I would highly recommend it to any parent with small kids.

The Fisher Price Potty On-the-Go is one of those items that is a must-have for me.  It has made the potty training years so much easier.  I no longer have to worry about going to parks or playgrounds or beaches where bathrooms are either not convenient or not somewhere you would want to bring your small, barely potty-trained child.  I no longer have to time my outings around when my children might need to use a potty.  This potty really has enabled us to go on outings whenever and where ever we want.  It's very sturdy, portable and easy to use.  The refill bags are expensive but we use generic plastic bags.  The refill bags come with an absorbent pad or disc that you place in the bag to absorb fluids but I bought a small package of extra heavy incontinent pads which I cut in half and use instead.  I also stock my carrying case with nitrile gloves, wipes, and anti-bacterial spray.  This really makes a very convenient portable potty for those times when a clean, nearby bathroom is not available.

We recently received this product and we love it. I am sure that if you have been following our journey(blog), you already know that my 20 month old son has decided he is ready to potty train. We have been working on this for the past few weeks, and I was always nervous about going out and about with him. I always put a diaper on him before because I was so afraid of an accident. I have to say that the Fisher Price On the Go Potty by Active Gear is fantastic. We took our son an a 2 hour road trip in his "big boy" undies along with the potty. This was used a total of 4 times while on the trip, not to mention that we had to pull off the side of the road once for him to go. It worked great and he loved it. It is so easy to pop up to use and the clean up was a breeze too. I would highly recommend this to any potty training parent out there. Also, the neat little carry case is a nice addition to the product. So, if you are in the market for a great travel potty, I would recommend this product. Sure it is a little bulky, but works GREAT!!

If I were to tell a new parent the one "MUST HAVE" item for baby, this portable potty by Fisher Price would be it.  There is nothing that I have gotten more use out of, including the crib.  It is still being used long after potty training is over.  It can be taken anywhere because of the great carrying case.  We use it all the time. AWESOME!
