Most HelpfulWhen my Maytag bit the dust at only 3 years old...I went searching for a new machine. I looked at top loaders, side loaders, & any other loader that was out there. I came across this machine but wrote it off early because it just didn't look impressive in the pictures. However, when my husband & I actually...

Most Helpful Purchased this machine in November of 2004. Was absolutely wonderful for about 2 years.
At first I noticed that after loading clothes in the washer and going back upstairs, I would hear this little beeping tone. I would go downstairs and find that the clothes in the machine were slowly spinning...
I did a lot of comparisons before I bought my Fischer & Paykel washing machine. It was one of the more expensive machines at the outset, but the promised savings in electricity and water led me to buy it. I've had the machine about 4 months and I LOVE it. Yes, it sounds a little like an airplane taking off when it goes into the spin cycle, but by golly when it's done, the clothes are barely damp---making the time they spend in the dryer 30m or less. It's also as advertised when it comes to water use. My monthly water bill has been a little smaller than it used to be--the only variable...
review »This is a great and inexpensive item. It has a large wash bun for lots of clothes. Many different settings to choose from also. I would really like to have a front load washer because I am short and it is hard to get all the clothes out sometimes. Other than that it is a great buy and it shouldn't disapoint you.
fisher and parkel isn't a great washer machine. it eat my clothes and towel. i wouldn't recommend this washer machine to anyone. the company isn't very nice i had called fishe r and parkel about my new 2 washer machine that its eating up my clothes and towel they didn't beleive me at all. there customer service isn't very nice they hang up the phone on me..
I had a front loader that I loved. But we sold that set with the house, so we needed a new set. Our laundry room set-up would have meant that front-loading washer and dryer doors would open into each other.
At first I was leary of going back to a top-loading washer, because my front-loader spun the clothes out so well. But we bought the top of the line and it has no agitating cone. This way, I can cram it full of clothes. It spins the clothes out just as good as the front-loader.
We bought the matching top-loading dryer, and the pair is awsome!
