Life saver...

I love these cups so very much. We still have the ones we bought 3.5 years ago. Sure, we've had a few lids destroyed by chewing, but overall, these things have lasted! We use them on a daily basis to keep milk from spilling everywhere. My least one is a true messy eater/drinker. She has discovered how to shake milk out of them, but we are working on that. We take them to restaurants, keep in the car, etc. We started using them when my first kid was 4 months old as she wouldn't take a bottle and wasn't able to drink out of a sippy cup that had a valve. They do leak if turned upside down, unfortunately. But they work great for being knocked over or sloshed. They keep down the messes and are so cheap! You can afford to have your kid chew the spout, accidentally loose one at a restaurant or park, or toss one that got lost with contents in it and then found after it molded. Great sturdy design and definitely a great price as well as flexibility. All a necessity with little kids!

Take them, toss them and learn from them

Since our family has been trying to go a little more green whenever we can I was surprised that I decided to bring home the **First Years Take & Toss Little Learner Spill Proof Cups. **But for lack of a better explaination we were on vacation, I needed sippy cups and the price was right. First, we have two kids that were both at the sippy cup stage at the same time.  The fact that these came in a pack of 6 was really important.  THough we were on vacation when I first purchased them I didn't want to worry about having to wash just two of them over and over again and possibly even losing one - sending us back to the store while on vacation. I also like the the **First Years Take & Toss Little Learner Spill Proof Cups **is just what we needed for our older kids.  I just wanted something to help me out a little bit, to avoid spills in restaurants or in the resort where we were staying. THe **First Years Take & Toss Little Learner Spill Proof Cups **does spill if your child is determined or just thoughtless.  If you turn it upside down and shake it will spill.  If your child leaves it laying on it's side on the floor it will spill too. But it doens't leak around the edges. **First Years Take & Toss Little Learner Spill Proof Cups **have a purpose, especially if you are on the go, trying to move on to regular cups or are on vacation.  And, they are BPA free and you can recycle them - so instead of tossing them they can have another use.

Take and Toss cups are easy

OK, I admit, these are not the "greenest" products on the planet. I had refused to buy then even as a gift from others' registries. But as all my nuby sippy spouts had cracked and broken I had to find a replacement and we were about to go on a trip so I thought I'd give these a try. Of course I wanted something BPA free and this line is. And I have to say I like them. They hold up well to washing so I don't have to participate in the "toss" part until my son is really done with them. And if one does get lost it is no big deal since they are fairly inexpensive. Also nice about the cups is that they are simple--cup & lid--no valves or extra parts (to annoy grandparents with). Now I have the spouted cups, the cups with straws, and a few bowls with lids. Great for home use and for travel. When you're done (out grown or completely worn out), they can be recycled. So bottom line is they are not the evil product I had previously viewed them as and I am happy to own them (and would even buy them off a registry).

I would have spent a fortune without Take and Toss cups

I have a child with a disability and a toddler, so sippy cups are an absolute must in my household. It doesn't matter the pattern, color, just the fact that all of the parts are there, and they will be used in this house. Take and Toss Spill Proof Cups have been an absolute must have these days. With only two parts to keep up with, I can easily interchange one lid for another, without worrying if they match and for those days when one gets left in the hot car full of milk, I don't hesitate one bit about throwing it away. At such a great price, I own several packages of these cups and no longer deal with the typical spill proof cups that have spill proof inserts and cost me a fortune. I no longer have to hold my nose when I open the cup before throwing it in the dishwasher because I spent too much money just to pitch the thing. Less work, great product, super good price, what more can I say?

Love these cups!!

When we were planning and getting ready for our vacation, I saw these at the store and thought they'd be great for us to take with us on our trip. The **First Years Take & Toss Little Learner Spill Proof Cups **worked perfectly for us. I was excited to see that they were BPA free and so cheap. They were a lot more sturdy than I thought they were going to be and none of them have broken or cracked, despite being packed around in a suitcase and diaper bag. The lids and cups are all interchangeable - I bought a First Years Take & Toss cup set with straws and they the lids of those are interchangable as well. They are easy to clean and dishwasher safe. They are nice to have for when we are out and about because if we lose one or forget one, it's no big deal. We have had no problems with leaking or spilling out of these cups, which is amazing because so many of the Spill Proof sippy cups we've had - have had leaks and spills.****

great sippy cups

First years take and toss cups should be in every parents cupboards. These are the only cups I use for my boys' juice. I have tried other cups but gone back to these cause they are cheap and can stack up in the cupboard and don't take up a lot of room. I have bought 2 sets only because I have lost some of them. The lid fits pretty good and doesn't leak. I have noticed that if the kids throw them on the floor the lid can sometimes pop off. My boys like to chew on the tops so they do get bite marks in them. But they are very inexpensive so I don't mind if I have to buy more. You get about 4 cups and lids in a package. I love that you can put them in the dishwasher to clean them. It is handy that they come in different colors so you can keep them seperate from your other kids. And my boys love choosing what color they want. Jaxon likes blue cup with blue lid and Jace gets the orange cup with green lid.

Super Affordale

I love First Years Take and Toss items. They are super affordable and very durable and come in fun colors for boys and girls. You can also mismatch the colored cups and lids. BPA Free which is a must for me. Very easy to clean and maintain. I bought theses learner spill proof cups for my son to learn how to drink out of them. He is learning quite well, plus they can stand up to him throwing them everywhere. I also love how it comes with a travel cap closer so you will have no spills on the road. Its okay if you lose or misplace these, they are so affordable you can use them as disposibles if you want. They do leak a bit when my son throws them or if they are lying on thier side but not very much. One thing that isn't so great is that they do scratch very easily, especially if you wash with a ruff scrubby. I also love that they are translucent and you can always see how is left and when washing you dont miss a spot. Overall I am very happy with this product and intend to buy more.

Really handy to have around

I got some of these cups when my daughter was born but it was not until she was a couple of years old that we really started to use them.  I have been really impressed with the durability and performance of these "disposible" cups - even though ours have been used many, many times, we have not disposed of any yet! These cups are a nice size so a toddler can easily handle them.  They are spill proof and stay pretty spill-proof because the tip is make of a hard plastic as opposed to some cups that have softer plastic nozzle that can get bit or broken and then lose their spill-proofness. As with other take and toss items, I really like that they are durable enough for reuse but that they are also pretty cheap and so if you need to get rid of one or lose one it is not that big of an investment.   These are great for on the go, for when you have friends over and for trips to grandma and grandpas house.  I highly recommend them.

Great cups!

When my first was a baby I tried probably every brand of sippy cup there was.  This was the only one he would care to even try and drink out of.  I also like the fact there are not a ton of parts to clean.  I hated the other cups because you have all these valves and getting those as clean as I thought they should be didn't seem to be happeing.  So I bought these next because they were cheap and we had tried everything else.  I wish I had bought them first!  He would drink out of them, the lids fit nicely and if we lost one somewhere to find later and it was to nasty to wash I just tossed it.  It was a nice option to have knowing that I hadn't paid a fortune for these cups. I now use them with my other two kids as well.  The other two mostly use the take and toss straw cups which are also great.  The only thing I wish was there was an option to order more lids we still have a ton of cups but most of the time I have had to buy new ones becasue we have melted the lids in the diswasher.  Where they fall through the rack and down on the heater. Still a great deal however.

Take and Toss cups are great and really last!

I bought a set of The First Years Take and Toss cups intending to do just that... toss them! But to my surprise they were made so well I couldn't bear to toss them! I love the tight seal and they are really spill proof. I use them at home when friends come over, and also throw a few clean ones in the car for emergency use. They have come in handy SO many times! The bright colors are fun for kids, mine prefer me to mix up the colors instead of matching the cup and lid covers. We have also gotten the straw variety, too. They hold up well in the dishwasher but sometimes don't dry thoroughly so get spotty. Doesn't bother me, though! I love knowing that if we do lose a cup, it is no big deal. But honestly, these cups have held up beautifully and I have never tossed one since we bought them! I love the whole Take and Toss line and think it is a must-have item for busy, on the go parents and kids!
