With two older children ( ages 11 and 7 ) and twins on the way, I was concerned where we would put two high chairs in an eating area without much room to spear. Mom mothers suggestion was one highchair and take turns feeding the twins. I thought this would be a nightmare. First one child would be mad that they were having to wait. Second it would take twice as long to feed, which is not good with our busy life style.
When I saw these in the baby store I knoe I found the answer to the problem. The chairs easily attach securly to existing chairs and even slide under our table easily. You can feed the kids at the table as a booster chair or use the tray away from the table. This is convenient when company is over. Leaving more space aat the table for other people but keeps the little ones close so they do not feel left out.
As an added bonus, The first year booster seat is portable and has made many trips to Nana's house for easier feeding at her house.
