The first time I tried Benadryl Itch Relief Stick, I knew I needed a medicine to relieve the itch from one of the biggest mosquito bites I've ever had. I returned from a nice week long vacation in Mexico with the worst itching imaginable because of this nasty bug and because I could not resist scratching, my skin was swollen and red. got blister on calf of leg, after 3 days it was very painful and looked like dead flesh,went to plant EMT he said,  i should go to fam. DR. or emer. room.

i couldnt afford either so i went to walmart to see what they had. found PRID ,remembered it from chidhood. by this time i had large knot under blister 'bout golfball size and skin around was purple, quite painful.

thought i'd try this if it didnt work i could go to ER monday. this was sunday morning.

shaved leg, washed with hand sanitizer, applied PRID with gauze and tape. after 4 hours    i removed bandage, pain gone , scab softened gauze...

I recently used Nexcare Waterproof Bandages to cover a small red patch on my arm.  They really are waterproof and if that's your main concern, and you don't mind pain, then these are for you.  When I removed a Nexcare Waterproof Bandage, the adhesive literally pulled the skin off my arm.  It was very painful, but it's even more painful now, and I'm left with a scab and swollen lump where the bandage adhered to my skin.  Further, even where the adhesive did not pull my skin off, my arm is red and raw where the bandage adhered to my skin.  Unless you want to lose a layer of dermis, don't use...
