got blister on calf of leg, after 3 days it was very painful and looked like dead flesh,went to plant EMT he said, i should go to fam. DR. or emer. room.
i couldnt afford either so i went to walmart to see what they had. found PRID ,remembered it from chidhood. by this time i had large knot under blister 'bout golfball size and skin around was purple, quite painful.

Nexcare Waterproof Clear Bandages
I recently used Nexcare Waterproof Bandages to cover a small red patch on my arm. They really are waterproof and if that's your main concern, and you don't mind pain, then these are for you. When I removed a Nexcare Waterproof Bandage, the adhesive literally pulled the skin off my arm. It was very painful, but it's even more painful now, and I'm left with a scab and swollen lump where the bandage adhered to my skin.
