This is not a well known series. I actually watched the movie Serenity first. I liked it and I am not a huge sci-fi fan, eventhough I do enjoy it on occassion. While trolling the movie rental place I was running out of options. I had watched almost everything else they had, I had a frequent (daily) rental habit!  I went into the TV series section once again looking for anything I had not seen. I came across the four disc set of Firefly. I only rented the first one thinking if it was not good I would not waste my money besides I haven't really heard of anyone in this, But I like the movie so.....
     I LOVED IT!!! I raced back to the movie rental place at 11:45pm when they close at twelve! I got all of them and rented for 5 days so I could watch multiple times! The storyline is envolping, the actors are believable, and there are good action scenes. That is more than I can say about most of the television shows on air right now.... So if you are unsure watch Serenity first if you like it you will love the series Firefly!!!!! Go get them! One of my favorites of all time!!
