Excellent Writing, Great Stories, Awesome Characters

This show had an unfortunate run when it first aired, getting cancelled without even showing all the episodes. I was most likely overseas when this happened and missed the whole thing. Fortunately, one of my friends is a huge firefly fan and introduced me to the series. I won't go on and say what I like about the show because there's nothing I don't like about it (except of course, that it got cancelled). Many other people felt the same way, and Joss Whedon got enough support that he was able to make Serenity which appeased (if only for a while) the fans need for more. This was the first, and so far only, live action tv series in my dvd collection.
