Firefly - The Complete Series Review

This is one of my favorit series. If your looking for great graphics and a thoroughly enjoyable action packed series it is deffinitly the way to go! It won an Emmy in 2003 for "Outstanding Special Visual Effects for a Series". With a little cheese some romance and plot twists you wont see coming, I give it a 5 star! Great flick for a couple. Firefly is an American science fiction television series created by writer/director Joss Whedon, creator of Buffy the Vampire Slayer and Angel, under his Mutant Enemy Productions. Its naturalistic future setting, modeled after traditional Western movie motifs, presents an atypical backdrop for the science fiction narrative. Whedon served as executive producer, along with Tim Minear. Although there is only one season they did rap it up with a movie sequal. So instead of leaving us hanging waiting for all those answers, Serenity was made, thanks to a protest from all the fans.

Charectors:

Malcolm "Mal" Reynolds, played by Nathan Fillion, is Serenity's captain and former Independent sergeant in the pivotal Battle of Serenity Valley.

Zoe Alleyne Washburne, played by Gina Torres, is second-in-command onboard Serenity, loyal wartime friend of Captain Reynolds, and wife of Wash.

Hoban "Wash" Washburne, played by Alan Tudyk, is Serenity's pilot and Zoe's husband.

Inara Serra, played by Morena Baccarin, is a Companion.

Jayne Cobb, played by Adam Baldwin, is hired muscle.

Kaywinnit Lee "Kaylee" Frye, played by Jewel Staite, is the ship's mechanic.

Dr. Simon Tam, played by Sean Maher, is a medical researcher and trauma surgeon.

River Tam, played by Summer Glau, was smuggled onto the ship by her brother.

Derrial Book, played by Ron Glass, is a Shepherd (equivalent to a priest, minister, or pastor).
