Firefly is ok, but not really worth the time invested.

Joss Whedon's Firefly, where do I start? I was really excited to watch this series when I borrowed the DVD's from a friend of mine. I was a Buffy and Angel fan, and I love the whole "life in space" idea. To have Whedon attack the space genre was wonderful. Unfortunately, I was sorely disappointed. I did watch the entire series out just sheer will (well, not the end of those I fell asleep during), but the entire experience just seemed to drag on forever. Maybe the length of the episodes contributed something to that effect, but I just couldn't seem to get into the "action" in the series. Sorry Joss.
