I purchased this antenna cable to go with my fender antenna mount for my Dodge Ram and Uniden PC68LTW CB radio. This antenna cable is awesome primarily for the "Fire Ring", which cleans up the look of the installation. Other cables have gigantic connections which connect under the antenna, and can look rather gaudy. The Fire Ring is a neat and clean black ring connector, which is at least half as short as a regular antenna connector and made with a brass insert. I installed the FireStik FS-4 Black antenna on the mount and to the connector, which is a truly great antenna to top it of with! The only downfall of this connection is the increased difficulty (not really too difficult) of installation. You MUST make sure that the plastic/nylon spacers are installed correctly or you will cause a short and create problems for your CB radio. However, the picture which FireStik has on their website is very clear and straight forward. When seeking a great, clean looking CB antenna installation and great quality antenna cable, the FireStik Fire Flex with Fire Ring antenna cable is a great choice!
