Fingerhut.com offers a good variety of products and many people like to shop using Fingerhut’s catalog as well as its web presence. Fingerhut offers credit for those who qualify, and it takes very little positive credit history to get accepted. However, Fingerhut is not without its problems and reviews are mixed overall with review comments ranging from “Way Over- Priced and Low Quality” to “Sure to Find Something You Love”. Quick View: Use this as a last resort. Their prices are SO inflated and their interest rates on their "convenient payment plans" are incredible. Quality is questionable as well.

In college, I got a job at the local sweat shop where we made FingerHut bedding items. The women (including me) stood for 8 hours on cement floors with 10 minute breaks that were clocked in and out. Several of those minutes were spent in line punching in and out. Not much of a break like that.

One lady had to drop off her kid at day care and would arrive a minute or two late (never more than that) coming in. They docked her 15 minutes every day even though she worked over 10 minutes or so daily. This lady was one of their best workers. She worked more than 8 hours always. They paid her for 7.75...

They tried to stiff me for a lot of money and almost ruined my credit!

    I never in my life ordered anything from these people, yet 2 years ago when I went to buy my house I had a BIG BLACK MARK on my credit report from Fingerhut. You talk about being fit to be tied, I was well beyond that. They had reported me to the credit bureau to the tune of $285.....Why the heck would I ever order $285 worth of high priced junk?

I just ordered for the first time from Fingure Hut. I love the catolog... Shipping was fast and not that expensive. I ordered a shelf unit that locked so my one yr old will leave our movies alone. They were easy to put together but they were missing parts. Called the number on the intruction forms but got a machine and no response after 1 week. called Fingure Hut Customer Service, was told to call the manufacture on the instruction list. This is very frustrating. So I have shelves now but no way to lock the doors as the lock is what I was missing. So, he can still get at them but now he seems to... read full review »

I was a member of FingerHut many years ago and I really enjoyed the things I would receive from them until I received an item that I did not order and they refused to refund my money for the item I had ordered and would not take the charges off my account for the wrong item. I feel FingerHut has changed a great deal and I don't know if I would ever like to be a customer of theirs again.

I have had the opportunity to shop with Fingerhut in the past.  I liked the payment plan and it fit my budget. I would like to see the prices of some things come down a little, I could actually go to a  store and purchase the same thing for less money. I purchased a hair dryer and although I have had it a very long time, it is still in great working condition. I would recommend shopping with Fingerhut.

I have shopped with fingerhut for many years now.  It is nice to be able to find anything that you want whether it be sheets or furniture of clothing.  You have 2 choices in how to pay for your purchases.  You can pay up front the entire cost or have very small monthly payments with a small finance charge.  Great company.

I've shopped Fingerhut for ALL kinds of gifts and for myself.  Their prices are usually good, and they tend to have GREAT sales!  The quality of the items I have purchased has ALWAYS meet my expectations as well.

I'm also a credit user through them, and I find the monthly payments EASY on my budget.

Fingerhut has very good products, some of the items might be a little higher compared to the department store prices but the low payment plants make up for that. The have nice items and items I can use in my everyday lifestyle. Overall they have been around for a long time and I will continue using thier products.

I really do like fingerhut! I've been ordering from them for years. The most recent thing I've ordered was an Guitar. I really enjoy it. I would definitely recomend it. Great items and OK prices, sometimes their prices are high....

It's good for convenience, although high on some items.

The ease of ordering is very good, although the prices are a little on the high end on some items. The sales are really sales and not just small amounts off.  The shipping is very high, which is where they make their money.

I like to get value for the money I spend but that does not necessary mean buying brand names.  Store brands can be just as good but you have to check the prices and check what is inside,; I mean read the labels.
