Buy the book. Dave uses a common sense approach to helping us take control of the money we make and spend. He tells the reader how to dig out of debt and free up the money that many of us waste every month. This book is very insightful and covers everything from making a budget, emergency funds, how to become thrifty, saving for retirement, and saving for our childrens' college future.
I personally am still working on baby step 2, but after three months I am miles ahead of where I once was.
