No, what the world is coming to is that no one gives a damn about anyone anymore.  We live in what I call the "it's all about me" society, where nobody cares how their actions affect anyone.  All they're worried about is themselves and if they have to cause you inconvenience in the process, then that's just too bad.  This is a problem that goes way beyond writing checks, but checks happen to be the subject of my rant today.

When I'm in line and it's my turn, I try to take my turn as quickly and efficiently as I can.  A small part of that is me wanting to be finished.  The vast majority of it is that I actually care enough about the people behind me to want to do what I can not to hold them up.  I'm sorry you don't feel that way.
