Making self- directed online investment trades can save a bunch of cash and one company that specializes in internet brokerage is
Fidelity Investments, one of the best known names in online finance. According to reviewers, Fidelity Investments offers an excellent web site and accounts are easy to setup and manage. I'm rich! I'm rich! — Oh dear. I'm not at all rich. But we did sell our overpriced home in California last year, and we wondered what to do with the tidy profit. Before we got carried away, we had to figure out logistics: i.e., where to stash the dough. — One of my brothers, a former…

Critical Review
I was with Fidelity for over 10 years with several account - my IRA, joint account, wife's account, kids' accounts, etc. We have over a $million invested at Fidelity — — I recently had an issue with them. Not a biggie dollar wise. Less than $200. I could find no one at Fidelity who…

technically savvy, a busy person
We have been with E-Trade, Charles Schwab, Muriel Sebert (sp) and all have taken us for a ride with fees for nothing. We trade outselves, we have money market accounts which should be paying moe than any bank can. — I got a Mystery Shop to contact Fidelity Investments regarding a Money Market account that is now my current premium checking account and making 3% interest. I was talked to very nicely, very knowledgeable people who do not put you down to questions. They have all the time you need of them. I gave them high marks, then learned my husband has his 203B…

Investing newbie, a busy person, practical, technically savvy
I love Fidelity because you can consolidate all your retirement accounts together. It's easy and intuitive how to use the website. There is online customer support via instant messaging so you don't have to sit on a phone waiting to talk to somebody. — The research tools are great when trying to find stats on a mutual fund or stock. The site also has a feature called Full View. This allows you to register all sorts of accounts (other brokerage accounts, bank accounts, credit card companies, frequent flier / hotel accounts, email, etc.) so all account balances can…

in debt, Every day computer user, an aggressive investor
I like their IRA accounts because there are no annual fees and because I have the ability to make stock trades online. I also like that they have people available that I can call if I need information, but they don't bother me otherwise. The only bad thing I've noticed is that their commissions are higher for trades of more than 1000 shares. It's cheaper to break the trades up into multiple 1000 share trades than to make a single trade of more than 1000…
