Good and good for you

a breakfast eater, a chocolate lover, the cook of a family with varied tastes

There is something about a toaster pastry that to me is quintessentially American. But, the Kellogg's Pop Tart has always been equated with the rectangle fruit paste filled pastries with the yummy icing. I gave Pop Tarts Toaster Pastry's up a long time ago mostly because of the high sugar content.

Rich and Flaky Treat

There is nothing better than a quick breakfast, especially when it contains chocolate. Fiber One Chocolate Fudge Toaster Pastry's are the perfect treat to start your day or a great snack. These pastries don't taste chalky or artificial and have a rich fudge flavor. They are easily warmed in the toaster or can be served just out of the package. Each of the pastries contains a bulked 5 grams of fiber and about 190 calories. These are a bit caloric, so stop at one, but they taste delicious. I love that they have the rich taste of chocolate and pastry with whole grains.

Not something I'd bring out for the kids

The box says 'cardboard no..deliscious yes'...Well I think they've a ways to go before that's true.. indeed, as I ate it all I could think of was cardboard...The taste IS better than similar products of the past, but still has a long way to go before I'd call it 'good'...If you're eating it simply for fiber, as a part of a medicinal schedule, it's ok...if you're buying it hoping it tastes great...I think you'll be disappointed.
