Ferrum College —

Ferrum College is a great methodist college. Ferrum is a liberal arts school in Ferrum, VA. Ferrum College is a private school; which means it is very expensive. The tution here is around $32,000 a year. Ferrum's population is around 1,400; it is a very small school. The school is in the mountains; it's about 15 mins. away from Rocky Mount which is a bigger city in Va. Ferrum College does not offer a masters program but they are considering it. There are many different clubs and organizations on campus for the students.  Ferrum offers 8 different sororities and fraternities for the students; only one of the fraternites is nationally recognized. Many students at Ferrum major in Teacher Education, Political Science, Pre-Professional Science and Social Work. There are 5 dormitories and 4 apartment style living areas where the students live. The apartment style rooms are mainly for juniors and seniors at Ferrum. Ferrum has a great athletic department they offer many different types of sports on campus like the women's lacrosse team. Ferrum is a great school; you can find the website at ferrum.edu
