Ferrets are like toddlers.

noticing the details, appreciative of good service, Open-minded, a pet owner, an animal lover, living with many animals

Pros

Will keep you on your toes, Better in groups, energetic, fun

Cons

My husband and I have now brought 5 ferrets into our home. Ferrets are exciting creatures who are always looking for something new and fun to get into. However, before bringing one home please educate yourself on their behavior, health, and care. They are time consuming (recommeded 2-4 hours / day for playtime). I would not recommend ferrets for parents with children or if you are busy working most of the time. Ferrets are very loving and interesting pets.
If you consider bringing one (or two*) into your home, please consider adopting from a local resuce shelter. The kits (ferret babies) are adorable. But the other ones need love too. *Ferrets work better in groups. They liking having another ferrets to run around and play with.
