Fender Stratocaster —
I first got into guitar 10 years ago. At first my guitar was bigger than I was...that didnt last too long. My first guitar was an old charvelle, not great, but good enough. After 5 years I wanted something better...a lot better. And went for an american made fender phat strat. Ive now had it for 5 years and have bought 4 other guitars since and the strat remains my favorite. I am a big blues player and it wails like nothing else can. I also play a lot of hard rock so the humbucker pick up is a must for me and I find it makes the guitar a lot more versatile in what kind of music it will sound good on. It plays everything from some twangy country to some hard rock. Fender strat is a must have for probably any guitarist.
