The Felco #9 Bypass Hand Pruner is a handy tool to have. They are easy to use, fitting well into ones hands, enabling the user to fit the tool into the area needing cut. I am a small, older lady so I need a tool that will do the job with precision. I use one to make a clean, sharp cut on the limb or branch needing pruned. I have a large property and when we built our home, 39 years ago, I set out to fill the whole acre with trees and shrubs. I succeeded very well. Now, after all this time has passed and all these lovely green growing specimens have outdone themselves, I find I need a tool I can handle to do the daily clipping and cutting necessary to contain their growth, True, some needed to be cut down completly, but those that remain are in constant need of pruning. This is where the Felco #9 Hand Prunrers come in handy. I just get em out, and clip away. One of the smaller trees, an apple tree (actually a yellow Delicious Apple) has benefitted the most from my pruning efforts. I am short and this is a dwarf tree. Nonetheless, a small ladder is required to prune this tree, Every Spring, very early in the season, I go at it. I have a huge pile of branches when finished. The Felco Pruner is a blessing--I could not manage without them. They are sharp and easy to use. I recommend the Felco #9 Bypass Pruner to all who have property with bushes and trees that are bound to grow out of control without careful pruning.
