FedEx — 

I purchased an item through an online vendor and have had nothing but problems with the FedEX delivery side of the deal.  The vendor did their part well enough, but the FedEx delivery side of things has been a nightmare...The expected delivery date was Friday Dec. 12 and I expect they are going to continue screwing things up for a few more days...

Here's the story: an address change was never updated while sitting at a FedEx hub, so a few days later the driver ended up attempting delivery to my future address rather than my current one.  When he does attempt the delivery to that incorrect address, he scans the item as "Waiting at pickup location", so when I call customer service after tracking it online, they tell me it's waiting at a particular FedEx Ground location for pickup.  I (idiot that I am), go to that location later on that day to pick it up and after conversing with a "not-all-there" FedEx representative, I find out that the driver is still holding the package in the truck after having scanned it incorrectly.  So I give the rep the correct address for it to be delivered the next day (Saturday), and I'm on my way without the package.  Sure enough, Saturday I track the package and an attempted delivery to wrong location (again) has taken place.  I call customer service and the lady (pleasant and actually trying to help!) informs me that they didn't update the address on the package when I came in the day before (which means the paper with the correct address is probably still sitting on the Rep's desk). OK.  Now she has sent a message to have the address changed and to have a manager call me to verify that the change has been made before it is delivered on Tuesday Dec. 16.  I call back on Monday to see if they've finally gotten it together, and the customer service rep reads back the address for delivery as 700 P******* when it is supposed to be 7000 P*******.  Seriously, I never expected a company who is supposedly a leader in their field can so consistently screw up so badly.

Somebody please pray for my Convection Oven as I think it will need that and therapy after it's ordeal with FedEx!
