Being a candle lover I knew that I would enjoy this product.  Febreze Home Collection Flameless Luminary Starter Kit is one of the new products introduced recently by Febreze.  It's a nice product that not only looks nice in your home but provides scent to the home as well via a flameless candle concept.  Read on to see what I thought of this new product!

Febreze Home Collection Flameless Luminary Starter Kit

Febreze Home Collection Flameless Luminary Starter Kit comes with a plastic base and two luminary screens.  The screens are decorated and sit on top of the base.  This unit requires two AA batteries that go into a small compartment located under the base.  This provides the illumination.

There is an on/off button under the base also.  The unit works when it is in the "on" postion and a screen is set inside the base.  Lift the screen up and the lumination goes off.  The unit is programed to automatically go off in 4 hours.  

Febreze Home Collection Flameless Luminary Starter Kit retails for $14.99 and refills will set you back $4.99 for two refills.

Other scents available are Natural, Herbal and Fruity & Refreshing.

Scents--Green Tea Citrus

One complaint I have about this product is that it is expensive for what you get and I found the scent way too strong initially.  After if has been sitting in my office for about a week, the scent wasn't so strong.  It's like the screen needed a good airing.  

The base is made of plastic.  I see several people have said that it is wood.  It is not.  To me it is cheesy--but they couldn't put a battery compartment up in a wooden base either.  So I guess we will just have to deal with it.

I'm not sure if I will purchase refills or not.  I think the Fruity and Refreshing scent or the Natural scent may be pleasing to me.

The screen that came with my unit is a neutral color and has trees on it.  It's very pretty and I love the effect.  It gives my office a relaxing atmosphere.

This is only an average product for the price you pay.  I got my starter kit from a manufactuer's representative as a special gift.  It's nice to get free things in the mail and I can't complain about losing money on this product.  You may want to take a good look at this unit before spending $15.00 on it!
