Wow I thought I had trouble assembling the Lako fan! At least it didn't require a trip to emergency due to faulty workmanship at the factory. The problem is the feet for the stands was to completed at the factory, but 2 were off and won't fit on. I guess that's why they didn't finish the job. Right now, it just sits in pieces on the floor trying to figure out how to pull the poll with my fingers, a pliers or by smashing it open. The first 2 didn't work so I think I will will return it before trying anything new. Fortunately, I bought it locally so no hassles with mail.
