Farmers Insurance Review

We had multiple insurance policies with Farmers Insurance, but now we want to get out of it.  They recently cancelled our home owners insurance policy, stating that our property was "vacant".  We are currently remodeling our house, but we are still living there during the construction process.  They cancelled it under the ASSUMPTION that no one as living there and now we have to go through a lot of crap to get it reinstated, which I don't even think is worth the trouble.  It would have been nice to been notified beforehand so we could have avoided the cancellation.  We are now without home owners insurance, because of their screw up.
