Farm Bureau has friendly customer service - - they are willing to talk to you about making sure your insurance premium is within your budget and what discounts are available that you can use. They are people within our semi-small town that my husband grew up with that are working to make sure that you have the right coverage for your vehicle and home without breaking the bank!! I've been with a lot of insurance companies...all of which you've seen on TV. My wife and I were approached by a Farm Bureau rep and simply asked if he could quote us on our auto and homeowners insurance. We weren't necessarily looking to switch but the gentlman was polite and professional. I'd never heard of Farm Bureau until talking with our rep. They don't advertise much in mainstream media.

For the lowest insurance rates on your vehicles, you can't beat Farm Bureau. For members they have added benefits as well. They would not cover ever a claim when we never had one. One day we did and they said, Oh, even though you have a farm policy, your silo isn't covered because WE didn't write it in. Make sure they write in everything to be covered by hand...After a state helicopter blew it out because of a drug sweep in the area. It's our problem not theirs.
