I am a very safe driver with no tickets or accidents. Recently a teenager in an oncoming car turned suddenly in front of me at 40 mph, totalling my car. He was cited for failure to yield. His insurance company was Farm Bureau. They have been a nightmare to try to work with. My car was a 2003 Malibu with 53K miles. They offered me $3,700 because the car had some previous hail damage. I had to buy a 2001 Malibu with 63K for $5,700. So basically through no fault of my own I wind up with an older car and $2,000.00 out of pocket. Also I still have neck pain from the accident but I was afraid to go to the hospital beause I don't have health insurance. With the rude attitude of Farm Bureau's adjuster I figured they would fight tooth and nail to keep from paying any medical bills. I can truly say that they are evil people who care only about money no matter how many innocent people they hurt.
