    lying agent, Bait and Switch, only interested in profit, Incompetent staff, Expensive, not interested in you as a person, poor attention to detail, poor customer service, constantly raising premiums

Farm Bureau Insurance — 

I have never delt with such an unorganized operation, not to mention the rude office help and agents. Everyone blames everyone else and nothing gets done...other than collecting money. I have even been blamed for speaking to a different agent when my agent hadn't returned my call in over 2 weeks. They quote you one price, then double it two months later once you have already paid for the full year in advance. They actually did an automatic withdrawl on my accout for $53.00 more than what I was told would be taken from my account without any notification or explaination. Typically I would just switch my service because of this kind of treatment but I think others should know how they treat their customers. I have been a member since 2004. I have my home, boat and three vehicles are on this policy and I will be canceling it in January.
