Reviewers don't agree on Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer. On the one side are the fans that liked the quirkiness and humor of a "good clean, fun movie." On the other side are the detractors that don't feel Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer lived up to its hype, finding that while the original Fantastic Four spent "too much time on back story, this movie did not spend enough." The Silver Surfer is an alien that comes to earth causing molecular anomalies. It's the Fantastic Four (played by Jessica Alba, Michael Chiklis, Chris Evans, and Ioan Gruffudd) that are called on to save the day.
