Fancy Nancy —

I started reading the Fancy Nancy books to my little girl when she was 2 years old and she has loved the books from the first page! They are adorable and charming and I think my daughter will continue to enjoy them for several more years to come. The colors and designs were enough to keep my daughter's attention when she was two and the story line is enough to kepe her entertained now (3 and 1/2 years old). Even I enjoy reading these stories to her! We started with just the Fancy Nancy book. From there we have bought every book in the series, including the Easy Readers, which were fantastic gifts for my 6 year old neice! It's wonderful because my little girl learns new vocabulary from each one of the stories. My daughter has quite an extensive 'personal library' and she always goes back to this book. It is easily going to be a favored classic in our family and I welcome it in the nightly bedtime story rotation! I would recommend this book, and  every other in the series, to anyone with a little girl!

That would be adorable! I once saw a website that showed how to turn a book into a photo frame. I'm sure if you google it you'll find what I'm talking about. You could buy a used fancy nancy book from amazon or somewhere and add her photo with the frame idea...even cuter gift... Even if it is just a gag gift!

Fancy Nancy is my mom's nickname! I should get this book for her as a joke. Thanks for the review. :-)
