Famous Dave's - Wilmington, DE Review

My husband's co-worker had recommended Famous Dave's to us about 2 months before we actually tried it.  My husband, myself, and our 2 sons went for dinner on a saturday evening.  We were greeted by a very friendly host who quickly seated us at a most comfortable table.  Even though the restaurant was busy, we were met by our server within just a couple of minutes.  She was extremely polite, and had a great sense of humor.  Our beverages arrived along with some home made chips used to sample their hearty variety of BBQ sauces.  Each one of us ordered something different, with my youngest son ordering ribs from the children's menu.  When our food arrived we were thrilled with the generous portions offered.  Our server noticed that my youngest looked disappointed that he did not have a cornbread muffin,  (which only comes with the adult selection).  Next thing I knew, she was back with one for him at no extra charge.  Our drinks were always kept full without us asking.  The food was outstanding, both in flavor and doneness.  Served at the proper temperature, and with delicious side order options.  I highly recommend the baked beans and cole slaw.  This is the best BBQ restaurant I have ever patronized.
