Famous Daves - Gilroy, CA Reviews

I've been to Famous Dave's a couple of times.  The servers are friendly and the atmosphere is fun.  Food is tasty, but way too much food for me.  I think that it is a great place to split an entree.  The ribs, pulled pork, and brisket are great.  The sauces are excellent.  The fish is so-so (I mean, catfish.  really...).  I ordered a chicken sandwich the first time that I went there.  The server had brought us a complimentary appetizer because we were newbies and they were running an opening special.  Splitting the appetizer, PLUS the entree was way too much food for me.  I brought home...

My party of 6 went to Famous Dave's in Gilroy for the first time. Food was above average and some items were good, but service was very poor and the restaurant interior was low end. The bartender miss understood our drink order, and was not cooperating in resolving it. When seated, we were given 2 chairs, and had to wait SEVERAL minutes for 4 more. Our waiter was very nice, but overall staff didn't care at all about our experience. It's so disappointing to have employees give you the standard "thank you and have a nice night" lines without acknowledging any of the problems we faced. I will recommend...
