When I was a young married woman I used to buy individual copies of Family Circle.  It's always been a good value, it has tons of recipes and interesting articles that suit the average household.  The magazine is not pretentious, it leans towards family and family values and is a good thing to donate when you are done with it.  The covers are always eye catching and the index helps you find whatever you want easily.  I now subscribe to Family CIrcle thereby getting it earlier than the newstands.  I can't wait to see what's inside as every month holds my attention and I love trying their new...

Family Circle Magazine

This magazine comes out about once a month with 2 extra issues during the year. Quick and easy recipes, do-it-yourself decorating, fat-fighting secrets and health alerts, family advice, great ideas for getting organized, money and time saving tips, and so much more!

You will find a lot of recipes that really are quick and easy and pretty good that your family will like. Their do-it-yourself advice is very good as well and always is simple to do. Their articles on fat-fighting (aka health and nutritional area) seems to have expanded in the recent months...

Family Circle magazine is my families favorite magazine. I use it when I am looking a quick craft for my Girl Scout troop. It has  very simple and delicious recipes too. My daughters love to take turns picking one out to help me prepare.  My 9 year old daughter even reads the magazine when I am through with; which I have no problem with. Except for the time there was a cleaning tips for your closet article. My daughter read it and then took to telling me how unorganized my closet was and how I should fix it.  I also love the price. Everytime I turn around something is going up in price,... review »

The thing I love most about Family Circle is that I can sit down and read a copy without feeling like an abject failure.  The majority of lifestyle magazines, even the ones that are aimed at mother's and families, present unrealistic lifestyles that can only be acheived by households that have incomes in the top 10% of the nation.  This is a magazine for the rest of us.  This is for people who budget, clean house, and work while trying to raise their children.  Over the years, I've cut out a number of their inspirational articles and put them in scrapbooks.  I still review them when I need... review »

I LOVE this magazine. It has everything in it that I enjoy, all for one price. There are beauty product reviews, real stories about real life situations, home decorating and gardening articles, and recipes. I think my favorite part is the recipes. There have been so many that I love. I especially love the baking ones. I enjoy making and decorating cakes and there are such cute ideas in Family Circle. Plus there are children and adult craft projects, which I also enjoy. I recommend this magazine to anyone who enjoys all of the above and wants to find it all in one place, every month.

Family Circle Magazine, is nice to have to give home Ideas. It does, however, have way too many advertisements. It seems as though you pay for what you can see on TV, and not enough of the show. I would like to see more family oriented articles, less advertisements.

Great all around magazine, love the recipes and beauty tips. Geared toward the average woman, not too high end, just right in the middle for me.
