The thing I love most about Family Circle is that I can sit down and read a copy without feeling like an abject failure.  The majority of lifestyle magazines, even the ones that are aimed at mother's and families, present unrealistic lifestyles that can only be acheived by households that have incomes in the top 10% of the nation.  This is a magazine for the rest of us.  This is for people who budget, clean house, and work while trying to raise their children.  Over the years, I've cut out a number of their inspirational articles and put them in scrapbooks.  I still review them when I need a lift.
