I got started with facebook a couple of years ago when it was just open to college students, and I liked the website a lot more when it was like that. It is a great way to connect with people that you go to school with or went to school with in the past. I reconnected with a lot of my old friends that way, and it was awesome. I also like how we can add photo albums, which is very easy to do on facebook.
Then they opened the website up to everyone, and it has started to turn into a website like myspace, where people become like spammers, asking anyone and everyone to be their friends. They have added these applications now, too. Some of them are fun, but a lot of them are juvenile and junk up a person's profile. Some of my friends have so many applications on their profile that it takes five minutes to scroll down to where I can post a message for them! Like I said before, it's reminding me more and more of myspace. It is still a good site for people who want to get connected with old/current classmates, and is fun if you're into all the applications and things like that.
