Facebook —
I was a late Facebook bloomer. Everyone kept telling me I needed to do it, but I just never got around to it. Once I decided to put an effort into it, I discovered that it can be very addicting!! Facebook is a great way to find people that you forgot you knew, and for them to find you! You can share pictures with your friends and family, and read what they have been doing that day. Honestly, I do think that Myspace is a little more user friendly, but Facebook is still equally wonderful! I did find, however, that it is easier to find people on Facebook because people use their actual names, instead of a made-up handle that you would never be able to guess. Facebook is all about networking with friends and family, and is very easy to set-up. Once you get started it can be somewhat confusing with all the applications that try to access your time. But if you stay away from those (unless you're interested), it can be as basic as you want it to be.
I've been on Facebook for a couple of months now. My brother talked me into joining. I had no interest in it at first, until a couple of my HS friends found and contacted me. You are right, there are LOTS of applications. Very good review. ~Krista Lynn
We were just talking about these two with friends yesterday. Sort of wondering about the differences. For me I just don't have time to luckily get obsessed with either and I easily get obsessed!
