Most HelpfulWhat pet brush could be worth $35? The Furminator! I was shocked at how much hair comes off my cats with this brush. I vacuum several times a week and still had little patches of hair around the house until buying this brush. I've cut my vacuuming by at least half and the floors look better than before.
I used to clean up at least one, usually two hairballs a week (have two cats, one medium-length hair, one long-haired) off the carpet, and that's even feeding them Science Diet Hairball Formula. After using the Furminator once a week for the past month, I've cleaned up two total!

review »I have a pure Rottweiler, short coat and a Rottweiler/Newfiland, medium to long coat. This tool is WONDERFUL!! It gets the under coat our and the top coat is not harmed. Their coat feels so good when you are done grooming them. I groom every week and they just love it - they see me get the Furminator out and they race to the door.
We also have two very large cats, short coat. They think it is great also and know when I get it out - it is a good time coming.
Really cuts down on the fur on the floor/furniture!!
The fur really comes out so be prepared with a large sack or bucket to put...
review »From what I have read, this works by combing out the undercoat. It works well, if you are willing to put in the time. The comb/blade is thin and it takes many strokes to get hair out. It removes small layers of hair at a time and they are often static-y...so I always end up with a mess all over the room. It is costly and so are the replacement blades. After using, my dogs coats are shiny and I only need to use the furminator about once a month. You have to be careful because the blade is sharp and it hurts the dogs skin if you brush too deep.
Have you ever vacuumed dog hair up only to turn around and find it back on the floor like your vacuum had never been there? I never thought there would be an answer to the dog hair that found its way in every nook and cranny of my home. I would faithfully brush my dog's coat every day and it never seemed to help. Then I saw the furminator in a store. I assumed it was like all of the other brushes only much more expensive. I was talking to my friend who is a groomer and she told me that I had to borrow one of hers because it was amazing
She explained that the furminator is not like...
review »We were reluctant to purchase a Furminator for quite a while because of the cost, but after seeing good review after good review, we couldn't resist. We purchased our Furminator, took it home, and immediatly used it on our dogs. Seeing that we have six dogs in our home, we knew that we had much work in front of us.
We soon discovered that the Furminator was the BEST dog hair removal tool we had ever seen or used, and believe me...we have purchased many of them throughout the years. We started using it on our large long haired lab mix. After 30 minutes and just brushing...
review »I saw a girl in the building where I live using it and asked her about it. Brace yourself these are very expensive but they are stainless steel which is good. Before I would work for hours on my lab Godiva getting out gobs of hair and never get anywhere close to getting it all. The first time you use the brush on your dog heed their advice and go to the basement, garage, or outdoors because you will have more hair than you can ever imagine. I made the mistake of brushing out the lab in my living room. It is 12x20. By the time I was finished the ENTIRE living room flor was covered with...
