I love the Furminator but think it is too expensive

Pros

    very durable, reduces the amount of shedding, gets pet's undercoat and loose fur, Removes unbelievable amount of hair., gets a lot of fur at once, easy to use

Cons
    rather expensive

FURminator Large — 

We bought the FURminator for our husky mix who sheds like a madman in the summer.  It is awesome.  The yard is filled with fur after every use.  The house is cleaner, and I don't feel like I need to vacuum every day anymore!  The only downside is that it is so expensive.  I think I paid close to $60 which is nuts.  Should be at least $20 cheaper!
